SHIPPING & PACKAGING

Shipping for the UK and Overseas is by Royal Mail
For UK – Tracked 24 please bear in mind that it will almost always take at least 1 extra day, our only mail collection is at 7am, if I am unable to get a parcel to the post office the night before it has to wait until the following day.

Overseas – International tracked is used for all parcels.

FOR ALL PARCELS – please bear in mind that we are on an island & we have no contol over the weather. If the weather is bad, the ferries and mail plane do not leave & there will be a delay in parcels getting into the mail system. if this is going to happen I will let you know.

Local contactless collection from my workshop in Shetland is free, please phone to order & I can let you know where to pick up from, if you aren’t able to get out to Walls I can arrange to drop off in town or we can sort something out for North Isles.
These prices & weights include packaging to keep your purchase safe, when selecting your purchases, bear in mind that for example 1kg of wool will weigh more than 1kg. I always allow an extra g or 2 on the weight of a skein & there is the weight of the ball band & the packaging, so 1 kg of wool would put you into the 1.01kg – 2kg rate for international. For the UK the price is the same upto 2kg.

We reserve the right to alter shipping charges, for example when there are Royal Mail price increases.
